The rose drying process use 6P drying and dehumidification integrated machine with with 25 cubic drying room as a standard model. One batch can be put into the flower core about 900 kg, which takes 40 hours, and the setting and fixing time of the rose flower can be completed in the heat pump drying system. The device uses 7 degrees of electricity per hour and has a total power consumption of 280 degrees.
The drying of the rose is divided into 4 segments. The first section performs a low-temperature setting and color fixing process for continuous dehumidification, and the humidity become about 40% after a period of time. In the second stage, the temperature is raised for 1 hour to solidify, then dehumidification is started, and the humidity become 30%. In the third stage, the temperature is raised by 6 degrees and consolidated for one hour. There is no need to drain the water at this stage. Then enter the final stage, continuous dehumidification is required, and the humidity is reduced to 20%. After such a process, the color of the rosette remains good. Peeling from the outside to the inner layer, the flower will not change color. In the past, electric drying systems did not achieve this effect. This is related to the precise coordination of temperature and dehumidification.
Procedures of rose processing:
Picking of rose buds
The best time for picking is before the micro-sheets, when the buds are red, and the buds are ready to be placed. The picking criteria are rose buds that have been fully expanded but not open. After the rose buds are picked, they are packed in bamboo cages or bamboo baskets and immediately sent to the local acquisition point for sale or processing. If the picking sites are far away from the processing site, temporary sheds should be set up for drying and should not be stacked to prevent heat.
Selection of rose buds
The purchased rose buds are stored according to the variety. It is forbidden to mix and store but carefully selected to achieve no impurities, no half flowering buds or full open flowers and weak flower buds.
Fresh buds on the grid and loading
After the selection of fresh buds evenly placed in the frame drying grid with barbed wire, petals uniform downward or upward, thickness consistent, do not squeeze; The trolley with full flower bud, should be lightly loaded, and the rose bud should not be distorted and worn.
Shrinking drying of rose buds
The trolley filled with rose buds should be gently pushed into the drying room. Close the temperature of the drying room door, strictly control the indoor temperature, replace the simmering in sequence, and change the wind direction regularly to ensure that the rose buds are even wet and the color is bright.
Dried rose buds are released
The trolley enters the drying room for about 8 hours. Artificially detecting dried rose buds, as long as the color is bright, with the unique aroma of roses, the rose buds are full of spindle shape, the color is purple red or sauce purple, the torus and the flower bud are yellow-green. The rose buds are flaky with the hand, and 70-80% of the flower petals are in the shape of fans after being crushed by the hand, indicating that they have dried. At this time, the trolley filled with dried rose buds can be pushed out of the drying room.
Grading and packaging of dried rose buds
After grading, the dried rose buds are dried to normal temperature, gently put into a non-toxic plastic bag, sealed at the mouth, placed in a standard carton, and stored in a warehouse meeting the sanitary standards. And keep the warehouse dry and ventilated. The box should be 20 cm away from the wall.
